I am all about nicknames, for most of my life i have had one to the extent that some of my closest friends went years without knowing that it wasn’t my real name. It’s a name i associate with my youth, with accomplishments of the past and i can quickly assume a lighter more jovial personality when i hear it. A nickname can become a personality, and can play on many levels.
In Robinhood, there is a character named Little John, who is anything but little. His hulking frame and lumbering stature give the appearance that he is to be feared, respected, but the name Little John puts one at ease in part because it in opposition to what you see.
When i think of the name ‘cupcake’, i envision a colorful character, someone loud and bold but overtly sweet and bubbly. These are not traits that describe me well on the surface, but are those valued most in my submissive journey. Having a voice and opinion, being kind and sweet is how i can be my best self and aligns with my core values.
When Mistress observes me acting the part, She is quick to let me know, and so i am cupcake, King Cupcake Sparkles Bunny Tail of the Purple Panty Kingdom. On this day i wore pink, and it gave me special powers. Being Her cupcake, i can do anything.
